The game has no account, no server of ours, and sends us nothing. Everything below is about one thing: the ads, which are served by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no server belonging to us for anything to be sent to.
Your settings, your four high scores and the game you have in progress are written to a file inside the app's own private storage on your device. That file stays on the device, is not readable by other apps, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Ads
The free version shows a banner ad, served by Google's Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). That SDK collects data directly, and Google is the data controller for what it collects. These are the categories Google documents, in Google's own words:
| What Google collects | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device | Advertising, analytics |
| A device ID | Advertising, analytics |
| Other user product interactions, to improve advertising performance | Advertising, analytics |
| Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen | Advertising, analytics |
| Non-user related crash logs | App functionality |
| User-associated performance data, such as app launch time and hang rate | App functionality |
Google's own descriptions are at Google Mobile Ads data disclosure, and how Google handles that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Children, and why the ads are not personalised
This game is meant to be played by children — its easiest mode is built for ages 4 to 7 — so every ad request the app makes is configured before the ads SDK starts:
- Every request is tagged as child-directed. Google does not serve personalised (interest-based) ads on a request tagged this way, and does not use an advertising identifier to target it or to build a profile from it.
- Ad content is capped at Google's G rating, the most restrictive one, so an ad meant for an older audience is not eligible to appear.
- On iOS the app never asks for the advertising identifier (IDFA). There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because nothing here tracks you across other apps or websites.
Nothing in this app is used for tracking as Apple defines it, and no data is sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Leaderboards and purchases
The leaderboards are Apple's Game Center on iOS and Google Play Games on Android. Signing in is optional; if you do, your score and the identity you sign in with are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not by us. Skip it and the game is fully playable offline.
The optional one-time Remove Ads purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. They tell the app only whether the item is owned. We never see your name, your card, or your billing address.
What we do not do
- No analytics or crash reporting of our own.
- No advertising or marketing profiles built by us.
- No selling or sharing of personal data, to anyone.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location used by the game.
Your choices
- Remove the ads and the ads SDK stops requesting them.
- On Android: Settings → Google → Ads lets you reset or delete your advertising ID.
- On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising control what any app may ask for.
- Delete everything the app holds by deleting the app; the save file goes with it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or export. For data the ads SDK collected, Google is the controller, and its privacy policy describes how to exercise your rights. If you are unsure, write to us and we will help.
