Sum-thing looks like a match-3 game and plays like mental arithmetic. Every ball carries a number. The bar above the board asks a question — ? + ? = 13 — and you drag a path across touching balls whose numbers answer it. The chain explodes, the board falls in on itself, and the next question is already waiting.
How it works
- Read the question above the board.
- Press a ball and drag across balls that touch each other, until the numbers you have picked answer it.
- Let go. A correct chain explodes and everything above it falls. A wrong one just flashes red — nothing is lost.
Four games in one
Pick a mode on the home screen. Each one has its own levels and keeps its own best score.
- Little KidAges 4 to 7. Single-digit addition.
- TweensAges 8 to 12. Two-digit addition, with subtraction later on.
- AdultNo mercy. Three-digit numbers, subtraction and multiplication.
- GodGood luck. The Adult ramp with the brakes off, and four-digit balls.
There is only one way to lose
The clock is not it. Running out of time costs you the time bonus and brings the next batch of balls in early, and that is all. You lose when the balls reach the top of the frame and there is no room for the next pour.
What is in it
- One continuous run through levels that keep getting harder, against the clock.
- Four difficulty modes, four separate high scores.
- Game Center leaderboards, one for each mode.
- Portrait, one-handed, and it works offline.
- Free to play, with an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase.
